![]() ![]() Stock it would drop down somewhat faster, prematurely if you would even, however you had full control if you knew how to drive the truck. At that point is is near balls out, not gentle like before. I found that you have to add a considerably larger amount of throttle to get it to drop down if you want to accelerate up said hill. If you are going up hill it holds the gear and lugs the truck down. Now the truck will hold gears going up hill better, however this is a two way deal. Many people bitch about how the truck stock hunts and the convertor unlocks if you sneeze or hit a bug. The trans tune itself does indeed hold gears and doesn't hunt as much as stock. This also seems to be in part due to the trans tune. I will have to play tomorrow and pull out tune then add in a performance tune with stock trans parameters. I am not sure if this is something just with the trans tune or what. Said it wasn't as bad as my manny trans jetta (she hated the shifting and body moving forward then back in seat). That makes the truck lose forward momentum enough that you actually shift forward before it goes back to full throttle. I mean drops it to the point that I hear an intake at just above idle whistle as it is trying to shift. It chops it harder under wot than my truck does stock. This is primarily due to the fact that the 1-2 shift chops throttle hard. ![]() I had high hopes as well as expectations after seeing a few reviews by other people. It has a custom exhaust, and a simple K&N drop in.Ĭurrently rolling in summer set-up as shown in sig pic. Some may disagree with my review, some may agree, some may find it helpful. Well, I must say first of all that I will be completely unbiased in my review. ![]()
